TL;DR
- Flatlogic runs its annual research for the 5th year to learn how people actually build web apps in 2026.
- Focus is on real-world AI usage: models, tools, workflows, and where AI helps or breaks.
- Take an anonymous 3-minute survey; results will be published openly.
- Participants receive 10 credits for Flatlogic and AppWizzy; prior results (2022–2025) are linked.

For the 5th year in a row, we’re running our annual research on how people actually build web applications.
This year, the landscape has clearly shifted. AI is no longer experimental. Between coding agents, IDE assistants, and “vibe coding” platforms, the way apps are built is changing fast. But what’s still unclear is what people really use in practice, not in demos, not on X, but in real workflows.

So we updated the research. We removed outdated questions, added new ones around AI-driven development, and focused on what matters now:
- Which AI models and tools are actually used?
- How do they fit into real development workflows?
- Where do they help, and where do they still break?
Take part in an anonymous 3-minute survey!
Our goal is simple: understand how web apps are actually built today, across the full spectrum. From no-code and low-code tools, to AI app builders and coding agents, to traditional development. From solo founders to teams and agencies.
We’ll publish all results openly, as we’ve done every year.
As a thank-you, every participant will receive 10 credits for Flatlogic and AppWizzy.
If you’re building, experimenting, or planning your next app, your input matters!
